Abstract:Yunnan is a big province of tea growing, among which Pu'er City and Menghai County achieved great advances in comprehensively opening market and multi ethnic tea cultural heritage areas by promoting intensive management of tea industry, raising leading enterprises and strengthening characteristic tea products.

Abstract:Fenghuang town,located in Chao′an county,Guandong province,is the famous production area of Fenghuang Dancong,and one of the inheritance and development region of GongFu tea of Shantou and Chaozhou.The investigation result shows this area has unique natural condition which is suitable for tea plant growth.The local tea farmers are plain and diligent,and they preserve the traditional craftsmanship of Fenghuang Dancong.With the tea market heating up for recent years,the influence of market economy reflects in local tea famers′ production gradually.

Abstract:This study presents Pu'er tea's range while shedding light on its identity and classifications, which are directly related to Yunnan province's growth. The previous scholarship had widely neglected this topic and failed to examine the diversity of Pu'er tea. However, for this research work, there are four primary objectives: identifying and highlighting ancient and king Pu'er teas; assessing the economic standing of the Bulang Buddhist community; differentiating between these two varieties of Pu'er tea; and exploring the historical context of Chinese tea culture. The study revealed four main findings. The first suggests that tea traders promoted the phrase "Pu'er tea" to integrate and assess all Pu'er area tea varieties in order to enhance sales. The fourth finding, based on Chinese tea history, demonstrates the significance of ancient and King Pu'er teas for the Bulang Buddhist community. The third finding indicates a total of eight varieties of Pu'er tea. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The author conducted in-depth interviews with twenty two study participants and carried out fieldwork in the Laoman'e hamlet in Xishuangbanna, in the Chinese province of Yunnan. This study is significant for the Bulang Buddhist ethnic group of Laoman village, who rely mostly on the ancient and king pu'er tea sale in the mountain region of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China.

Abstract:Implementing the rural revitalization strategy is an inevitable choice to increase farmers' income and establish a moderately prosperous society. Yibin is one of the main tea producing areas in Sichuan Province, and promoting the healthy development of the tea industry is an effective way to achieve rural revitalization and farmers' prosperity. However, for a long time, the tea industry in Yibin has faced problems such as extensive management, low production level, weak brand effect, and small scale, which have seriously affected the three-industry linkage with tea as the main body. By analyzing the current development status of the tea industry in Yibin City, analyzing the constraints and proposing feasible solutions, we aim to explore a unique development path suitable for the tea industry in Yibin City.

Abstract:Abstract: Yunnan Pu'er tea making technology is a major part of China's national intangible cultural heritage. At present, there is a lack of digital research on the production technology involved in making Pu'er tea. Through literature research and field investigation, this study collected relevant and empirical data, which were then sorted to present the complete production process of Pu'er tea and create the metadata standard set of Pu'er tea making skills. These research results will upgrade the intangible cultural heritage information management system, break through traditional display modes, and innovate cultural communication modes.

Abstract:Under the influence of large modern machinery industry, pesticides which invented artificially are commonly used in modern tea production in order to increase labor productivity greatly. The most important thing is to increase product output in exchange for profits. While modern industry has brought fast development to the tea industry, it has also brought many new problems, such as the excessive application of artificial products such as fertilizers and pesticides, which have polluted the soil and near-body waters. In fact, it has also affected the natural reproduction of tea plants. Jingmai Mountain, located in Yunnan province, the ancient tea garden is a sacred mountain in the heart of local people. If the local tea farmers used the famous strategy of "prisoner's dilemma" for their personal benefit, the ancient tea forest would have long disappeared in history. Here, one can see that ancient tea trees and towering trees are intertwined. Mountains and villages, ancient tea houses, forests and tea farmers are integrated into a harmonious and unified world. People of all ethnic groups here grow tea trees, and every family goes hand in hand to protect natural environment. The ancient tea growing in the jungle of Jingmai Mountain grows on natural fertility, without any pollution, and has excellent quality, which has become a model of sustainable development for human and the society.

Abstract:This study was conducted to examine the culture of tea from Guizhou Province, including the history, the producing areas and the kinds of Guizhou tea, which is emerging as a new interest. China, the hometown of tea, has abundant human and material resources and there are countless kinds of tea produced here. The Southwestern area of China is the origin of tea tree and tea grown and produced in 26 provinces, China ranks top in the area and the production, globally. Based on the regional and cultural history in the major tea producing areas, the production and the area of luxury tea with the best quality are rapidly increasing. In addition to Fujian Province, Zhejiang Province, Anhui Province, Hunan Province and Yunnan Province that have risen to the rank of the top tea producing areas, this study is focused on the tea industry of Guizhou Province, where is coming into the spotlight these days. Guizhou Province, located in Yungui Plateau(雲貴高原) of the Southwestern area of China, is recognized as the origin of tee tree and according to 『The Classic of Te a』, historically, this is recorded as the producing area of luxury tea. This tea was also a tribute to the imperial family. Due to many circumstances, this province did not come to the front as the producing area of luxury tea, But with the fastest expansion of the tea production area, this province has the widest cultivation area and it seems the increase is accelerating more. The reason why this is possible is as the tea cultivation area, Guizhou has the best nature, the tea culture has its own historical tradition and the government of Guizhou Province has actively been supporting and managing. The ultimate purpose of this study is to examine Zunyi City, Meitan County and Fenggang County, where are the major tea producing regions of Guizhou Province, the major tea producing district(tea sea, tea sea s heart) and the representative tea brand, tree green one red(Three green tea and One red tea: 三綠一紅), and to understand the situation of the tea industry in Guizhou.

Abstract:This study adopts a case study method to investigate the interaction between tea and the local government. From the 18th century to the early 20th century, black tea was an important export commodity of China’s Hubei and Hunan region (两湖地区). The black tea trade between the UK and the Hubei and Hunan region (两湖地区) had driven the rise of black tea cultural capital in the region. The cultural capital of black tea brought economic capital, and the local government increased fiscal revenue by levying likin on tea. The economic capital of black tea transformed into political capital, and the local government could compete with the central government and directly negotiate with foreign governments. To dump products onto China, the British government had to maintain the unity of the Chinese market, choose to ally with the central government and weaken the autonomy of the local government of the Hubei and Hunan region (两湖地区). The local governments turned to seeking support from Russia and developed the brick tea trade. This result led to the gradual inability of the national power represented by the central government to control local governments.
