Progress in the Antibiotic Resistance to the Main Pathogenic Bacteria in Dairy Cow Mastitis

Abstract:The dairy cow mastitis is one of the most costly disease affe cting the development of the world dairy agriculture , the main cause is pathogen infection,particularly staphylococcus,streptococcus and intestinal bacteria infection. At present,the antibiotic treatment is still the most commonly used and the most effective method to the dairy cow mastitis. However ,due to the unreasonable and a lot of abuse antibiotic,causing cow mastitis pathogen resistance,and resistant strains showed a trend of increasing,even appear super resistant strain. It has brought great challenges for the clinical treatment of dairy cow mastitis. This article summarized from the status of main pathogenic bacteria drug resistance of dairy cow mastitis and the change rule of the drug resistance,the causes of drug resistance and how to reduce resistance for standardizing the clinical use of antibiotics and further improveing the effect of dairy cow mastitis treatment.
