The Transcription of Sex Chromosome of Mouse in Spermatogenesis

Abstract:The mouse sex chromosomes exhibit a different degree of expression as autosomal genes in spermatogenesis. Mouse sex chromosomes become transcriptional inactivation at meiosis (MSCI). But after meiosis, post-meiotic sex chromosome repression (PSCR) is incomplete, it still has expression of some genes. This paper reviews transcriptional inactivation process and mechanism of mouse chromosomes during meiosis and choose Akap4, Cypt, Asb9 from recent RNA sequencing data of mouse germ cell at post meiosis, to show their important role in spermatogenesis.
