Gene Cloning, Homology and Expression Analysis of TaeEF1β in Triticum Aestivum L.

Abstract:Eukaryotic translation elongation factor (e EFs) is an important multifunctional protein.e EF1βwas subunit of the eukaryotic translation elongation factor-1 (e EFs-1) complex and played an important role in protein biosynthesis.The e EF1βgene was obtained by cloning with RT-PCR from wheat and named as Tae EF1β.The amino acid sequences of Tae EF1βwere highly conserved and the conserved domain was located in 137-226 aa.The results of q RT-PCR showed that Tae EF1βwere up-regulated in the CWMV-infected plants.In this study, the expression of Tae EF1βin the stems, leaves and roots of wheat and different stages of CWMV infection was also detected by q RT-PCR.
