Abstract:In vitro microspore mutation technique provides a novel approach for the mutation breeding of rapeseed, which can high-effectively obtain target mutation traits and speed up the breeding process. The review summarized the progresses on in vitro mutagenesis and selection carried out by using microspore culture technology and mutant applications, and discussed its future applied prospect and developmental potential.
