Application of virtual training system to the automobile mechanical engineering experimental teaching

Abstract:According to the problem in the experimental teaching of the automobile mechanical engineering , the virtual training system based on UG , is developed . Transmission is used as example in the experimental teaching .All of the experiments can be finished based on the virtual training system ,such as constructor of the transmission , virtual measuring of the components , assembly and disassembly and simulation of motion .And students can finish the innovational experiment based on the virtual system . During the experimental teaching ,object teaching is combined with virtual teaching ,of which all the experiments are designed stage‐progressively ,and assessment methods and the form of the experimental results are reformed .So the result proves that the spirit of teamwork and the independent ability are improved and the students’ ability of engineering practice and innovation are trained .
