Abstract:Scheduling with deteriorating jobs is important in manufacturing,operations research,and man-agement science and engineering,and it is widely used in such fields as iron and steel,plastic,military and medical industries. This paper introduced the characteristics of the flow shop scheduling with start-time de-pendent deteriorating jobs whose objectives functions mainly included the make-span,total completion time, total weighted completion time,maximum lateness and total tardiness. Then it gived an overall survey on the scheduling,and points out the existing drawback and many problems to be solved. Finally,further relative re-searches were suggested.
