Abstract:In this paper, we consider a class of neutral stochastic differential systems with variable delays and give sufficient conditions to ensure that the zero solution is asymptotically stable in the mean square by means of a generalisation of Banach's contraction principle. These conditions do not require the boundedness of delays, nor do they ask for a fixed sign on the coefficient functions. The results are shown to improve the previous globally stable results derived in the literature.

Abstract:The almost sure asymptotic stability of higher-dimensional linear stochastic systems and of a special class of nonlinear stochastic systems with homogeneous drift and diffusion coefficients of order one is studied. Based on the well-known Khasminskii's theorem, a new approach for obtaining the regions of almost sure asymptotic stability and instability without evaluating the stationary probability density of the diffusion process defined on unit hypersphere is proposed. Two examples of two and three degree-of-freedom linear stochastic systems are given to illustrate the application and effectiveness of the proposed approach combined with stochastic averaging.

Abstract:In this work, we are concerned with the order preservation problem for multidimensional neutral type stochastic differential equations of infinite delay with jumps under non-Lipschitz conditions. By using a truncated Euler-Maruyama scheme and adopting an approximation argument, we have developed the well-posedness of solutions for a class of stochastic functional differential equations which allow the length of memory to be infinite, and the coefficients to be non-Lipschitz and even unbounded. Moreover, we have extended some existing conclusions on order preservation for stochastic systems to a more general case. A pair of examples have been constructed to demonstrate that the order preservation need not hold whenever the diffusion term contains a delay term, although the jump-diffusion coefficient could contain a delay term.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the exponential stability in the pth moment of mild solutions to neutral stochastic functional partial differential equations driven by Brownian motion and fractional Brownian motion: d [ x ( t ) + g ( t , x t ) ] = [ A x ( t ) + f ( t , x t ) ] d t + h ( t , x t ) d W ( t ) + σ ( t ) d B H ( t ) , where H ∈ ( 1 / 2 , 1 ) . Our method for investigating the stability of solutions is based on the Banach fixed point theorem. The obtained results generalize and improve the results due to Boufoussi and Hajji (Stat. Probab. Lett. 82:1549-1558, 2012), Caraballo et al. (Nonlinear Anal. 74:3671-3684, 2011), and Luo (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 355:414-425, 2009).
Well-posedness of stochastic evolution equations with Hölder continuous noise

Abstract:We show existence and pathwise uniqueness of probabilistically strong solutions to a pseudomonotone stochastic evolution problem on a bounded domain $D\subseteq\mathbb{R}^d$, $d\in\mathbb{N}$, with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions and random initial data $u_0\in L^2(\Omega;L^2(D))$. The main novelty is the presence of a merely Hölder continuous multiplicative noise term. In order to show the well-posedness, we simultaneously regularize the Hölder noise term by inf-convolution and add a perturbation by a higher order operator to the equation. Using a stochastic compactness argument we may pass to the limit and we obtain first a martingale solution. Then by a pathwise uniqueness argument we get existence of a probabilistically strong solution.

Abstract:A new integral inequality method is put forward to analyze the general decay stability for Markovian switching neutral stochastic functional differential systems. At first, in order to get around the dynamic analyses difficulty induced by the coinstantaneous presence of neutral term, Markovian switching and Brownian motion noise, an new integral inequality as a powerful tool is gained. Then, based on the integral inequality, general decay stability in the sense of <math>p</math>th(<math>p>0</math>) moment and the almost sure can be taken out by utilizing the nonnegative semimartingale convergence theorem and Lyapunov stability theory. The obtained results can be especially applied to two special types of neutral stochastic differential systems that have been studied in the literature. Finally, an example has been performed to verify the obtained analytical results.

Abstract:In this paper,under an abstract setting we establish the existence of spatially inhomogeneous steady states and the asymptotic propagation properties for a large class of monotone evolution systems without spatial translation invariance. Then we apply the developed theory to study traveling waves and spatio-temporal propagation patterns for time-delayed nonlocal equations, reaction-diffusion equations in a cylinder, and asymptotically homogeneous KPP-type equations. We also obtain the existence of steady state solutions and asymptotic spreading properties of solutions for a time-delayed reaction-diffusion equation subject to the Dirichlet boundary condition.

Abstract:The paper is devoted to investigating a class of neutral stochastic integro-differential equations with impulses driven by fractional Brownian motion. By establishing two new impulsive integral inequalities which improve the inequalities established by Li (Neurocomputing 177:620-627, 2016) and Long et al. (Stat. Probab. Lett. 82(9):1699-1709, 2012), attracting and quasi-invariant sets of the system are obtained. Moreover, exponential stability of the mild solution is established with sufficient conditions.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to studying the Sobolev-type stochastic differential equations with Lévy noise and mixed fractional Brownian motion. Applying a method (principle) of comparability of functions by character of Shcherbakov recurrence, it characters at least one (or exactly one) solution with the same properties as the coefficients of the equation. We establish the existence of Poisson stable solutions for the Sobolev-type equation, which includes periodic solutions, quasi-periodic solutions, almost periodic solutions, almost automorphic solutions, etc. We also obtain the global asymptotical stability of bounded Poisson stable solutions and present an example to illustrate our theoretical results.

Abstract:SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, Volume 62, Issue 2, Page 924-952, April 2024. This paper provides some sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness and the stochastic stability of the global solution for nonlinear neutral stochastic functional differential equations. When the drift term and the diffusion term satisfy a locally Lipschitz condition, and the Lyapunov monotonicity condition has a sign-changed time-varying coefficient, the existence and uniqueness of the global solution for such equations will be studied by using the Lyapunov–Krasovskii function approach and the theory of stochastic analysis. The stability in [math]th-moment, the asymptotical stability in [math]th-moment, and the exponential stability in [math]th-moment will be investigated. Different characterizations for these three kinds of stochastic stability in moment will be established, which are presented with respect to integration conditions. These results have seldom been reported in the existing literature. The almost surely exponential stability for the global solution of such equations is also discussed. Some discussions and comparisons are provided. Two examples are given to check the effectiveness of the theoretical results obtained.

By using a new approach, some sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee the generalized mean square exponential stability for the equation under consideration. Certain existing results are refined and extended. Lastly, the validity of the main results is confirmed through several simulation examples.

Abstract:Analysis and Applications, Ahead of Print. In this paper, we consider the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for stochastic nonlocal evolution equations with Lévy diffusion operator and nonlocal initial conditions. Based on the continuity of the Lévy semigroup and the technique of the measure of noncompactness, we establish the local existence of mild solutions in [math] under some weaker growth conditions. Moreover, we obtain the existence of mild solutions on any finite interval by using the general growth conditions on the nonlinear. Finally, the global existence and uniqueness of mild solutions follow from the additional Lipschitz conditions on nonlinear terms.

Abstract:When the evolution family is hyperbolic and satisfies the Acquistapace-Terreni conditions, the existence and uniqueness of an almost automorphic mild solution and a weighted pseudo almost automorphic mild solution in distribution of mean-filed nonautonomous stochastic evolution equations driven by fractional Brownian motion is proved. Abstract:The exponential stability problem of uncertain neutral complex system with Markovian switching is investigated in the presence of nonlinear perturbations and partial information on transition rates. The study begins to consider the related nominal systems and construct a novel augmented stochastic Lyapunov functional which contains some triple-integral terms to reduce the conservatism. Then the exponential stability criteria are developed by utilizing Lyapunov stability theory, reciprocally convex lemma and free-weighting matrices. The results are further extended to the corresponding uncertain case. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Abstract:The current paper is devoted to the asymptotic behavior of a class of stochastic PDE. More precisely, with the help of the theory of integrated semigroups and a crucial estimate of the random Stieltjes convolution, we study the existence and smoothness of center-unstable invariant manifolds and center-stable foliations for a class of stochastic PDE with non-dense domain through the Lyapunov-Perron method. Finally, we give two examples about a stochastic age-structured model and a stochastic parabolic equation to illustrate our results.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish the existence, uniqueness and stability results for the obstacle problem associated with a degenerate nonlinear diffusion equation perturbed by conservative gradient noise. Our approach revolves round introducing a new entropy formulation for stochastic variational inequalities. As a consequence, we obtain a novel well-posedness result for the obstacle problem of deterministic porous medium equations with nonlinear reaction terms.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish large deviation principle for the strong solution of a doubly nonlinear PDE driven by small multiplicative Brownian noise. Motononicity arguments and the weak convergence approach have been exploited in the proof. Moreover, by using certain a-priori estimates and sequentially weakly Feller property of the associated Markov semigroup, we show existence of invariant probability measure for the strong solution of the underlying problem.
