Research on AutoCAD System of Plastic Mold Standard Parts Based on ObjectARX

Abstract:Using the developing tools such as Visual Studio.NET 2005 and ObjectARX2007 toolkit,accessing the database of standard parts,tolerance and other attributes,a CAD system of plastic mold parts was built in the platform of AutoCAD2007,including the dynamic calculating of specification and parameter,parametric modeling,dimension and tolerance marking,remarks of materials and hardness information,and BOM output.The system function and structure were introduced,some key techniques and methods were also discussed.The system has been used in practice successfully,which has raised the working efficiency greatly and shorten the development period of products evidently.
