Abstract:To provide more effective active knowledge service for product design process,a construction method of knowledge service system for product design process based on the knowledge organization model represented by Directed Acyclic Graph(DAG) was proposed.Product design knowledge was expressed by knowledge instance,and all the knowledge instances were organized as a DAG based on the semantic relationships.To obtain the features of the knowledge needed in the design activities,on the premise of overall decscription for the product design process by static three-dimensional information,the corresponding three-dimensional dynamic information for the current design activities were obtained,and a knowledge requirement features table was used to describe knowledge characeristics of current design activities.DAG organization model could be queried semantically according to the knowledge requirement feature table.The needed knowledge point set was found in current design activity,and provided to the designers through knowledge service.An active knowledge service system for ornament design process was presented to verify the effectiveness of the method.
