Abstract:A control and signal processing system is designed and implemented for fault detection of cab electric circuit in various types of vehicles.The acquisition,input and processing of analogue and digital signals and the simulation on sensor signals of cab instruments are realized for different detected objects of cab electric circuit respectively.Databases for cab electric circuit and its detecting results are also set up for real time display and subsequent inquiry,including remote inquiry by intranet.The trial operation on cab production line shows that the system functions stable and reliable.

Abstract:Infrared search system is widely used in tactical warning, however the high false alarm rate severely affected the accuracy of target searching. Due to a different working principle, infrared and millimeter-wave compound search system can compensate the defect of infrared search system, reduce false alarm rates effectively. The design of the system of infrared search system and millimeter wave phased array radar is proposed. And the feasibility of the system is verified by simulation.

Abstract:The system of complex fire detection for smoke and temperature based 1-Wire bus is introduced in this paper. The detector includes photoelectric smoke sensor and digital temperature measuring part. All detectors are connected to one and the same twisted wire named 1-Wire bus, and communicate with the master PC computer through USB & 1-wire adapter. As a main circuit chip of the detector, DS2438 converts the analog concentration signals of smoke to digital data and completes digital temperature measurement synchronistically. It communicates with master PC according to the 1-wire protocol. The artificial intelligence and the technology of multisensor information fusion have been adopted in software-programmed process to estimate the information all round so as to judge the fire exactly based multisensor.

Abstract:A design of radiation inspection system was based on ionizing radiation detector. The system uses the embedded microcontroller as control unit,the ionizing radiation detector as sensing unit to detect the intensity of radiation and the GPSone model to measure the location of the radiation and communication to the telnet inspection center. This on-line monitoring system integrates the function of radiation detection and location,wireless communication and alarm. Experiment result shows that radiation inspection system can monitor the intensity and location of radiation which monitoring inaccuracy of intensity below 15 % ,and the precision of location ranges from 6 to 50 meters.

Abstract:This paper proposes a two‐wire bus communication system for fire safety based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology. We compare the impact of different modulation schemes, encoding methods, and channel estimation algorithms on the performance of the communication system. The simulation results based on different systems show that the system designed in this paper has superior performance compared with other systems and can meet the requirements of intelligent fire safety systems for communication speed and reliability. Summary Intelligent fire safety systems place higher demands on the speed and reliability of data communication between sensors, controllers, and other devices. The two‐wire bus has become a significant trend in developing fire safety communication systems because of its low cost and simple maintenance. This paper proposes a two‐wire bus communication system for fire safety based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology. First, we introduce the low‐voltage power line channel model and conduct relevant simulations, providing the conditions for subsequent simulation work. Then, we design the system's transmission and reception schemes, provide the parameters, and introduce each technology used. Finally, we conducted system simulations based on three different channel models, and the system performance is compared among different encoding, modulation, and channel estimation methods. The simulation results show that the system designed in this paper has superior performance compared with other systems and can meet the requirements of intelligent fire safety systems for communication speed and reliability.

Abstract:According to the advantages of infrared,such as high concealment,confidential,usable day and night,and strong anti-interference ability,etc.,a kind of infrared alarm system is designed.This system consists of two parts: son alarm system and father alarm system.Passive infrared sensor and single-chip microcomputer and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 are selected to realize all the functions of the system,and test and inspection are completed.The signal is detected by pyroelectric infrared sensor and amplified to enter into the single-chip as inputs.The voice and alarm,flashing lights,wireless transmission,serial communication are controlled by single-chip.In the end,receive and alarm are realized by the alarm system software in the computer.The purpose of offsite dual alarm is achieved.

Abstract:A multi-sensor fire detector for smoke and temperature based on MCU and CAN bus technology is introduced.Hardware components,detection principles and performance,and software design are discussed.The distributed fire alarm control system can be built up by using this detector,in which nodes are responsible for data acquisition and preliminary processing,and host computer for data processing.CAN bus is used for the communication between nodes and host computer.The proposed system has a better real-time property and higher accuracy in fire alarm.

Abstract:Many methods of fire detection in video have been carried out on PC. Generally it needs long cables to transmit images and processes videos on computers. That system is too dependent on computers, and costs a lot using cables to transmission. We would rather use a portable device to detect fire, which will bring us much more convenience. This paper designed a portable system to detect fire using DSP. The system integrates video acquisition, image processing and fire alarm together in a circuit board. Then we develop algorithms to recognize fire, and transplant them into DSP. Finally put it into use after commissioning test. This portable system can work independently. Users can put into their requirements through user-interface, and system will output the fire pictures and alarm by wireless communication or internet. This system is applicable to various places, such as indoor and outdoor, large and open spaces, forest, etc.

Abstract:With the rapid development of science and technology,1-wire bus technology is being more and more widely used in many fields for its characteristics of simple structure and design,convenient communication link and low wiring cost.As dangerous goods,it's necessary to monitor the fireworks production and inventory.1-wire bus approach with DS2438 and BL59A12 was used as the temperature and smoke sensor to collect data information of temperature and smoke concentration.DS2450 and HIH-3610 were used to collect humid information.Furthermore,the hardware structure and software procedure of the system were represented in this paper.With the field-debugging and running,the system show good results.

Abstract:To locate fires in diesel locomotives a single chip computer fire alarming system was developed. The system detected fires using a multiple sensors and a compound judge ment scheme. A single chip computer controlled the entire system, which used three types of sensors with a total of 16 sensors to detect the temperature rise and fire in the electrical chamber. The analogue signals were transformed into digital signals and sent to the computer for analysis. The system used the anti interference methods, worked reliably and can be conveniently controlled. Field experiments show its practicality.

Abstract:A kind of ultra-early fire detection system with high sensitivity and multi-parameter is introduced. The hardware of the system comprises smoke detecting module, CO gas detecting module, temperature detecting module and processing module. Optical measurement room of smoke detecting module is designed specially; it serves as a collimating and beam expanding unit as well as laser trap. It can detect the smoke of ultra-low concentration in the sample air by adopting high sensitivity photovoltaic cell and optimized amplifying circuit. The CO sensor has the characteristics of high sensitivity and quick response. It can detect CO gas of low concentration in the short time. Digital temperature sensor with high performance is applied in temperature detecting module. By adding the measurement parameters using the data fusion technology algorithm based on grey fuzzy neural network, the system has high precision and sensitivity. This system overcomes the weakness of some detecting system which only detects smoke concentration. Results of experiment show that: the detection sensitivities of smoke, CO gas and temperature are 0.005%obs/m, 0.5ppm and 0.1°C. The system can judge a fire occur and give an alarm in 15 seconds.

Abstract:Fire detection system has been developed for years, but the existing systems are either non-intelligent or non-integrated. This paper supposed a design of an intelligent and integrated fire safety surveillance system. We integrate video fire detection, fire positioning and fire suppression together into one intelligent system. Firstly, the video fire detection subsystem could recognize fire in the monitoring scene by processing the image sequences from the camera in real time. This subsystem will send fire alarm and video of fire scene to the control centre, and the centre will give positioning commands to the fire positioning subsystem. Secondly, the fire positioning subsystem will compute the coordinates of fire by images from two cameras of different position. The position information of fire will be also sent to the control centre and the centre will command fire suppression subsystem to work. Finally, the fire suppression subsystem could adjust the water cannon to the fire according to the coordinates of fire and spray water to put out the fire automatically. This integrated system can work independently and automatically. This system is applicable to various places, such as warehouse, workshop, dormitory, etc.

Abstract:There are many gas detection methods, among which infrared spectroscopy, electrochemical method and chemical sensor method are commonly used. Although the latter two methods have made great progress in recent years, there are still some problems such as poor stability, easy aging, poor gas selectivity and low sensitivity. In this paper, the signal processing and control system of infrared gas analyzer based on Internet of Things technology is designed, and its overall framework includes system application layer, network transmission layer and physical sensing layer. The infrared signal detection module is used to split the same laser source to improve the detection flexibility, and the current running state of the control system is determined through different signal processing processes, and infrared signal detection is carried out; the digital signal processing module is used to complete the comprehensive processing of infrared signals. The design of the control system of the analyzer has been proved by practice, with good reliability and high analysis precision. The control design of the analyzer has important guiding significance for the new product development of the analyzer and the instrument fault diagnosis.
