Combat Capability Evaluation Method of Space-based Ocean Surveillance System-of-Systems Based on ANP

Abstract:Space-based ocean target surveillance is an important development in the space equipment on the modern high-technology condition. To solve the problem of the combat capability comprehensive evaluation of space-based ocean surveillance system-of-systems(SoS),an evaluation method based on the analytic network process(ANP)is proposed. Considering the hierarchy of combat capability and the correlation between them,the index system containing the control layer and the multi-level-network layer is built. By defining sufficing capability degree functions,performance indices are quantified. According to capability requirement relationships and weights of indices, capability indices are aggregated. Furthermore,it applies ANP to assess the index system. Finally,an example is given to illustrate the evaluation process of the method. Evaluation result has shown that the method can reflect the effects of the network layer indices of a scheme on the reconnaissance capability goal,and is useful for the simulation study and the equipment development.
