Research on Active Network Technology Using in IP Network

Abstract:The programmable character of Active Network makes it possible to deploy new protocols and install new services quickly, however the brand new architecture increases the difficulty of implement. This paper surveys the newest research results on Active Network, especially on Active Network technology using in IP network, three main methods in this field were described in detail. At the end of this paper, identified some challenging open problems.
