Measurement of Current of Standing Waves along the Transmission Line on EAST Ion Cyclotron Resonant Heating System

Abstract:In order to measure the current of standing waves along the transmission line of the ICRH system dur-ing plasma discharge in the tokamak, a current measurement system based on current probes has been devel-oped.The theory of the current measurement in the transmission line was introduced briefly as well as the fea-tures of the current probe were analyzed to insure the performance of the current probe.The reliability of the current measurement system was proved by comparing the current value measured by the current probe with the other current value at the same point calculated by the voltage probe array.
