Abstract:The modular chip mounter is the developmental trend in chip mounter.Design this modular chip mounter based on "motion controller + IPC + visual feedback".For the hardware and software of this control system,modular design is adopted.Because of the mutual independence modules,all tasks are scheduled by the industrial personal computer (IPC) in hardware and the system integration in software.As a result,couplings are avoided.In the respect of mounting and compensation data exchange,can ensure the real time data exchange in the whole process of mounting by the means of arithmetic improvement and rapidity in data exchange of the motion controller.So it is possible to guarantee the real-time in mounting process.After we tested the prototype,find it can reach the expected goal both in the respect of mounting speed and accuracy.
