Design of an IP Core for General Flat Panel Displays Driver

Abstract:A novel IP core for Flat Panel Displays(FPD)driver has been designed.By the top down way,the IP core is divided into several modules according to their functions,and the functions of these modules are described.Meanwhile,the IP core is expressed with VHDL,systemically realized with FPGA,and finally confirmed by the computer simulation.The IP core exhibits excellently transplantable characteristics,and can conveniently modulate the drivers scale,which can be extensively used in FPD with different kinds and different scale.
