Exploration and Surveying of Underground Pipeline System Based on PDA

Abstract:To improve the efficiency of the digital subterranean pipeline network,and to achieve integrating surveying with mapping and mutual dynamic changing between graphics and database,the question that the attribute data and surveying data of pipeline exploration stored in Pocket-Access database in PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) are accessed in realtime when data of subterranean pipeline exploration and surveying is recorded is discussed,and the basic steps and key technique of data accessing are given. The method of data accessing with eMbedded Visual C++and ADOCE(ActiveX Data Objects for CE) is introduced,which is applied to subterranean pipeline exploration and surveying system developed in Beijing Jiuzhou Corporation. It is practically proved that the method,compared with the conventional working mode,can access and operate data with high speed ,and accelerate the pace of working by 2~4 times.
