Application of one-dimensional nano-sized materials in gas sensors

Abstract:The application of one-dimensional nano-sized materials in gas sensors is reviewed.Those sensors excluding the gas sensors prepared with SWNTs,MWNTs and single metal and metal oxide nanoribbons or nanowires show high sensitivity and small shift under room temperature,But there still is a long way to go to put those sensors into application because of the high produce cost and the rigorous detect condition,It is believed that the prepared side-heating gas sensors with metal oxide one-dimensional nano-materials will enhance the stability of the sensors while maintain high sensitivity,This will resolve the stable problem existed in the application of the side-heating gas sensors and it will become a hot-point in the application research.
