Abstract:This paper gives an introduction to the architecture and characteristics of Qmail. It then describes the design and implementation of a new Email system based on Linux and Qmail, which is to serve the students. Further improvement of this system is also discussed.

Abstract:Campus micro-cloud service system, an innovative application which is combined with mobile Internet and cloud computing, is a convenient tool within the campus for home-school communication between teachers and parents. The system is based on the extension and upgrade of the application of the original School Card or home-school system which is mainly relying on the interaction between the mobile operator's text messages and computer platform. In this paper, the system requirement analysis is introduced firstly, then the system topology design is described, and finally the system logical design is given. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

Abstract:Taking the development of the accounting operation and management control platform as an example and through requirement analysis,we design the structure of the accounting operation and management control platform based on the Struts2+Spring+Hibernate(SSH) technology.Besides,JavaScript and Spring dependency injection technologies are applied in the design of this platform.Since this platform avoid operating database directly,data operation errors can be reduced when applying this platform.

The cons and pros of those tranditional Client/Server architectures vs. 3-tiered Client/Server architectures are also presented, and the implementation of the Web-based 3-tiered OL-CAQ system is outlighted.

Abstract:The last few years has seen a massive growth of applications for smart phone operating systems such as Android, IOS. Short message services (SMS) is one of them. Although SMS as an application has existed for a long time, the method for managing short messages is rather outdated and very inconvenient. The is partially because most of the SMS applications are inherited from old fashioned mobile platforms, in which users of mobile phone usually concentrate on basic phone service and demand less for SMS. With the introduction of smart phone operating system, the old-fashioned method of short messages management is not suitable. To cope with this problem, in this paper we first conduct research on modern ways of short messages management, and then a short message services management system for mobile devices is designed. In this new system, more advanced options, such as messages query by date, by sender and sending a message to many receivers at the same time, for short messages is provided. Moreover, to validate our research and design, we implement the system based on Android platform. And we conduct some experiments with this system and test results shows that our system works quite well. With the mobile Internet becoming increasingly important to life, our research is expected to improve work efficiency greatly.

Abstract:The Internet e-mail service based on SMTP protocol is an important information infrastructure. Meanwhile, the instant messaging becomes an emerging Internet application. This paper presents a security e-mail system based on instant messaging protocol to resolve the problem of SPAM. After introducing the design of architecture, client system and server system, this paper presents the security and reputation mechanism. To support the incremental deployment, this paper also discusses the interoperation between XMPP based e-mail system and SMTP based system, and presents the solution for transition from current e-mail system to the new system.

Abstract:The task of this paper is to study the development and optimization of the high volume web based E-mail system.We can reach the goal of stability,reliability and converience by the modification of several key sectionsto optimize high volume web based E-mail system.To improve the efficiency of the web server,we use the high efficient,fast program ming Fast CGI instead of the traditional CGI.By utilizing the source-open,free software,modifying the user acknowledgement,the mail storage,WebServer program ming,load balance andthe prevention of discarded mail sections,we've optimized the efficiency of the high volume web based mail system and realized the aim of stability,reliability,high efficiency and conveniency.

Abstract:E-mail has been the most mature and widely used way of mail exchanging on Internet. But its ability is far more than this. Virtually,it can be used as a basic facility for data exchanging and automatic processing in various domain applications. From this point of view,a new model of E-mail application is presented in this paper,and based on the new model,we advise a two-layer framework for implementation. In the framework a middleware system EAMS is desigened and implemented with well generality,flexibility and expandability. Also meeting notification is discussed as a typical application.

Abstract:On the basis of research and analysis on existing chat system, and according to the requirements of enterprise, the de.veloper designs and develops a system of cross-platform chat room which is based on Qt4. This software can realize the realtime delivery of messages on the LAN. This paper introduces the basic framework of this software and operation process, focusing on the basic principle and the implement method to achieve efficient and reliable transmission using UDP. The software uses typi.cal C/S(client / server) architecture, socket programming of network communication. The results show that the system runs well.

Abstract:With the advance to a cloud era,there are more emerging web-based applications.Email service still has a special standing in the rank of Internet services.A large volume of emails are stored on the server end.When a mail is being transferred between hosts,it or part of its contents would have already existed on terminal.Based on this observation,a proposalis put up to save bandwidth.Both mail message format and SMTP protocol are expanded to transfer mail text and attachments later sequentially in a transaction.Hash values of attachments are computed first.They are transferred to server end as a part of mail text.Server end will determine whether an attachment need transfer or not based on hash values.

Abstract:In this paper,a scalable and distributed mail system technology is proposed.By the way of remote procedure call and dynamic load balance calculation,mails can be stored in multi-servers to overcome the low performance of single CPU and disk I/O,moreover,the faults tolerance function has been implemented by the data on-line backup.All the users can be allocated to various servers according to the user map structure,and rearranged to keep each server working when some servers are halted or new servers are added.The results show that the system's performance is growing linearly with the increased number of servers,and E-mail service can still be kept available in case of some servers shutdown.

Abstract:Email service is a killer application in the Internet. Due to the problem of SPAM, building a trustworthy and secure email service is an important research topic. This paper presents a new email system called SureMsg, which is based on Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP). In addition to the security mechanism provided by XMPP, a reputation mechanism is also designed for SureMsg. Therefore, SureMsg enhances the user authentication and is feasible for current Email service transition.

Abstract:Abstract Cloud computing platforms are the product of modern information technology (IT) development and one of the hottest research directions in the big data era. In this paper, the functions and principles of a multimodal integrated communication notification system that combines the communication methods such as e-mail, mobile phone text messages and voice calls are expounded, focusing on the discussion of JMail components, reliable mass texting, short message encoding/decoding, and other core technologies in the cloud-based system design. How to use JMail object, ADO, and multi-threading technologies to implement complex tasks such as information mass texting, fast receiving, processing, and recovery requires further study. Experiments suggest that the proposed method can solve the difficulties in designing information mass texting and reliability in design effectively.
