Abstract:The soft-tissue-deformation pIays an important roIe in the virtuaI surgery.AIthough amount of research efforts have been dedicated to simuIating the deformation of soft tissues,modeIing of soft tissue deformation is stiI a chaI enging probIem.From the viewpoint of reaI-time simuIation,this paper presents a noveI deformation modeIing scheme based on a hybrid condensed finite eIement modeI for virtuaI soft tissue.This scheme improves the computationaI efficiency and saves a great Iot of memory.The experimentaI simuIation show that the system achieve the IeveI of reaI-time interaction.
