Abstract:Many potential ways for sludge recycling were outlined. These methods can alleviate the pollution caused by the sludge. Preliminary research on preparing biochar from the sludge of the sewage treatment plant of Urumqi Water Group was carried out. The specific surface area of prepared biochar could reach to 82 m2/g. The process conditions should be further optimized.
