Abstract:With the continuous exploitation of mineral energy, some resources have been depleted at present. Castor oil can be used as a kind of inedible vegetable oil which can be used as the raw materials of many industrial derivatives. A lot of studies have been carried out on the derivatives of this kind of oils at home and abroad. This paper introduces the origin, application and development of castor oil and its research progress at home and abroad.
