Abstract:The basic starting point of HEIs is the delivery of outstanding talents in order to meet the development of the society and technological progress. The present course in universities of science and engineering exists many disadvantages, for example, course content is out-of-date, curriculum structure is unreasonable, the content of theoretics teaching and practice teaching are disjointed. With the reform of the teaching model for the course of analytical chemistry, the way to solve the problems was discussed. The author’s scientific research productions and experiences are incorporated into the course content, thus, teaching and scientific research was combined organically together. The course content was enriched and updated with the new scientific research. So knowing the current research situation would be helpful for the students to take a further study comprehensively and deeply for the newest field in analytical chemistry, and it was significant for cultivating innovative talents of science and Engineering.
