Abstract:Antibiotic wastewater issues affect the ecological environment and even the safe drinking water of residents, how to effectively deal with antibiotic wastewater is a topic of concern, antibiotics inhibit microorganisms in the conventional activated sludge, and thus this study attempts to utilize microalgae to treat target antibiotics.Microcystis aeruginosa was selected to treat two target antibiotics, cephradine and amoxicillin. The present study explored the feature of light that M. aeruginosa received in an autophototrophic incubator, namely light attenuation and light intensity in the incubator that the algal cells received; and the best lighting conditions was chosen to research the growth characteristics of M.aeruginosa.At last, the optimal light conditions and cultivation way,and the growth status and the antibiotic removal rate under the light condition was also explored. The results showed that there are certain differences in growth performance of M. aeruginosa under different incident light intensity. In general,5500 lux was the best light intensity for the algal growth.Within a certain range of light intensity, the stronger light intensity the greater removal rate of antibiotic; At the same time, the removal of cefradine and amoxicillin related to processing time in dark, M. aeruginosa that was pretreat in dark for 3 days show the best removal rate of antibiotic, which up to 73.28 %.
