Abstract:It involves a lot of work to realize the integration of cultural ecosystem and human settlement system. The purpose of this research is to solve the damage caused by the construction of the New District of Zhoushan islands, and to realize the harmonious development of the relationship between the people and the people from the perspective of cultural ecology. The present writer locates in the location based on the combination of the New District, make ful use of theories of cultural ecology and living environment, starting from the practical scientific point of view, on the islands of Zhoushan city construction of the past, present and future are analyzed comprehensively and carefuly, in order to improve the overal quality of the regional living environment.

Abstract:In the traditional urban landscape design, visual sense is regarded as absolutely important while consideration of acoustic environment is inadequate. In order to promote a new viewpoint for urban landscape design and to enrich the design methods, the concept of soundscape was introduced. Combining sound components with landscape design leads to the concept of soundscape and its features. The type and features of soundscape, and its relation with human perception was observed and analyzed in a survey of city parks . The explanation of the factors, stages and levels of soundscape design built up the soundscape design framework. Soundscape plays an important role in urban landscape. Natural, background, man-made and activity sounds provide meaningful information for human landscape cognition. They enrich and complement human cognitive methods and subjective experience of objective environment. With plastic arts and building technology, soundscape design comprehensively meets the functional needs of human activities, advances the relationship between human being and environment, and promotes the humanity of the objective environment.

Abstract:With the illustration of the design of Zhoushan cultural art center,the paper discusses the design idea of constructing the popular cultural building reflecting the time feature and the regional character based on the certain environment and function requests.Meanwhile,the paper brings two key points of the design of the cultural building forward:Firstly,constructing a favorable urban environment and an interacted spatial order between the inside and outside is more available than creating a new exquisite building.Secondly,trying to find an architectural form,which can be turned to become the city landscape,and also contain the connotation of popular cultural building,so as to reflect the vigor of the city and the region it located and the romantic feeling of the sea culture.

Abstract:"Harmony between Heaven and Man" not only embodies the essence of ancient Chinese thought but is also a core theory in the field of aesthetics. It emphasizes the close connection between humans and nature and advocates seeking a balance of harmony between heaven, man, and nature. This concept has significant implications for contemporary urban landscape planning. Faced with the challenges of "uniformity in a thousand cities" and "standardized development" in urban construction, it is crucial to incorporate this philosophical thinking into the design process. Design solutions and methods should be considered from multiple dimensions, such as urban ecological balance, harmonizing human life needs with the environment, regionalism and cultural heritage, as well as respect and protection of the ecological environment. Whether in overall planning or specific implementation, the profound meaning of "Harmony between Heaven and Man" should be explored to better showcase the harmony between humans and nature in urban landscapes and promote the city's health and sustainable development.

Abstract:Abstract One of the most important functions taken by a Urban ecological park is to protect and improve the urban environment, which is the green space of the city. Integrating ecology and humanity into the park makes the park have the dual significance of protecting the ecological environment and inheriting the history and culture. From the macro and micro perspectives, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the base, explores the regional culture, takes ecology as an important attribute, and designs the park with nine provincial thoroughfares as the theme culture, so as to realize the design goal of “integrating humanity into ecology, building landscape context” and promote the green development of human and nature.

Abstract:Public space is a stage of urban life as wel as a central domain of urban design. Good public spaces are of great significance in fostering social interaction, exposing image features of a city and establishing safe and comfortable urban life. In 2013, the city of Shanghai held the 'pocket square' design competition, which sought to help create public spaces serving urban life and offering citizens with leisure, activities and communication in densely built-up central urban area and turn them into 'drawing rooms of the city'. This paper introduces some thoughts from Tsinghua University's participation in this design competition on the issue of urban public squares in Shanghai and discusses how public spaces can play positive roles in urban development to improve the quality of both physical space and social space of a city.
