Abstract:This review summarized the recent research progress on the health effects of traffic-related air pollution, including the effects on the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, nervous system, reproductive system, mutagenicity and carcinogenicity. Joint effects of traffic-related air pollutants with other factors as well as the health benefits evaluation of traffic-related air pollution control were introduced. Prospectives of the future studies were also pointed out in this review.
