Associations Between Safety Culture and Safety Management

Abstract:On the basis of 6 indictors extracted from safety culture and safety management,a research plan has been established.Using visiting,discussions,on-the-spot investigation,special subject discussion and other forms,a research has been carried out in 6 representative enterprises in Beijing.The result indicated that the safety culture has highly consistency with the state of safety management.In other words,a well-managed enterprise is more likely a well-built safety culture enterprise.To some extent,the quantitative result of safety culture can be used to measure the state of an enterprise's safety management.At the same time,the result also showed that safety culture in Beijing is still weak in some forms,and more emphasis should be paid.
