Abstract:Phenanthrene (PHE) is an important organic pollutant in soil.Through the research of adsorption characteristics and degradation process of PHE in soil at different water bath temperature, this paper revealed the general mechanism of degradation of PHE via thermally activated sodium persulfate in soil system.Experimental results showed that the degradation of PHE was a process of oxidation and adsorption;PHE adsorbed in soil pore structure was difficult to be oxidized;the process of oxidation and adsorption accorded with pseudo-first order kinetic equation;the effect of temperature on reaction rate accorded with Arrhenius model, the activation energy was 122.6 kJ/mol at 333 ~363 K;the apparent reaction rate constant increased with increase of the dosage of sodium persulfate;the degradation rate of PHE decreased with the increase of initial concentration of PHE,increased with the increase of the water-soil ratio;in the condition of high concentration of sodium persulfate,H + 、HCO3-and Cl-had little effect on the degradation rate of PHE,OH-could reduce the degradation rate of PHE.
