Abstract:The new energy automotive industry revolution has promoted the rapid development of hybrid electric vehicles, which has incomparable advantages in fuel economy, vehicle power performance and cruising radius. This paper introduces the definition and basic principles of the hybrid electric power system, the development status of hybrid electric vehicles, and the structure and characteristics of different types of hybrid power system are compared and analyzed. At last, the key technologies of the hybrid electric power system are introduced, and the development trend is forecasted.
