Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinicopathological features, treatment and prognosis of the angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma.MethodsThe clinicopathological features, immunohistochemical and differential diagnosis of the angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma of one case was analyzed, and the related literatures were reviewed. Results The tumor cells diffuse infiltrated in the lymph nodes; the tumor cells were medium size, cytoplasm light staining or clear, and the cell nucleus were round or oval, the chromatin were with fine dust; vascular hyperplasia was with obviously branching structure, endothelium cells swelled. Immunohistochemical staining of tumor cells showed that: LCA (+), CD3 (+), CD4 (+), CD (5+), CD10 (+), CD30 (R-S like cells+), Bcl-2 (+), CXCL13 (+), CD21 (follicular dendritic cells+), CD35 (+), CD43 (+), EBV (+), Ki67 (about 30%+).Conclusions It is difficult to diagnose the angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma in the early stage, and it should be differential diagnosis among the reactive hyperplasia of lymph nodes, and the peripheral T-cell lymphoma-NOS, and Hodgkin lymphoma, and PTCL-F. The diagnosis depended on the comprehensive of pathological and immunohistochemical methods. The prognosis of patients which had combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy could improve its survival. However, the prognosis of angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma varies with individual, and the whole prognosis was very poor.
