Abstract:With biogas slurry recirculation,the effluents from reactor can be radically reduced in anaerobic fermentation process.Moreover,the water used for diluting influents can be largely saved as well as the buffer capacity and gas production of the anaerobic fermentation system can be improved.However,in practical operations,a series of problems such as ammonia inhibition,accumulations of volatile fatty acids and refractory materials still exist in biogas slurry recirculation process.On the basis of the theoretical knowledge,this paper systematically analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of biogas slurry for large and medium-scale biogas plants that deal with agricultural wastes from the perspective of engineering application.
