Cloning and phytohormone induction of the promotor of potassium outward channel gene NTORK1 from tobacco

Abstract:To characterize the expression of the promotor of potassium outword channel gene NTORK1, a upstream frag?ment of NTORK1 was amplified from Nicotiana tabacum K326 genome, containing 2 011 nucleotides and multiple transcription factor binding domain. The plant expression vector pBI121?NTORK1 was introduced into K326 leaf for transient expression. The promotor of NTORK1 was expressed under the induction of hormones NAA(5?4μmol/L) and SA(500μmol/L).
