Meta analysis of relationship between psychological stress or passive smoking behavior during pregnancy and adverse pregnancy outcomes in recent ten years

Abstract:Objective:To provide a theoretical basis for preventing adverse pregnancy outcomes by systematic evaluation of the correlation between social psychological or behavioral risks such as passive smoking and adverse pregnancy outcomes.Methods:Database included Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),Chinese academy of medical sciences of (CMB),Chinese journal of biomedical database (CMCC),Chinese medicine academic conference papers database (CMAC),Vipu Chinese Sci-tech Journals Database,Mizuki Search and Wanfang were searched.And casecontrol studies about domestic pregnant women social psychological stress or passive smoking related to adverse pregnant outcomes were collected.In accordance with the literature inclusion and exclusion criteria,the article screening,data extraction and quality evaluation were conducted,and then the odds ratio (OR),its 95% confidence interval (95% CI) and the size of the probability were calculated by RevMan5.3 software.Results:The psychological stress (OR 1.44,95% CI 0.80~2.58,P<0.0001) or passive smoking (OR 2.10,95% CI 1.51~2.91,P=0.0003) was a correlation factor for adverse pregnancy outcomes.Conclusion:Meta analysis shows that both psychosocial stress and passive smoking are high risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes.
