Abstract:Let $\mathcal{O} \to \mathrm{BM}$ be a $ \mathrm{BM}$-operad that exhibits an $\infty$-category $\mathcal{D}$ as weakly bitensored over non-symmetric $\infty$-operads $\mathcal{V}, \mathcal{W}$ and $\mathcal{C}$ a $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $\infty$-precategory. We construct an equivalence $$\mathrm{Fun}_{\mathrm{Hin}}^{\mathcal{V}}(\mathcal{C},\mathcal{D}) \simeq \mathrm{Fun}^{\mathcal{V}}(\mathcal{C},\mathcal{D}) $$ of $\infty$-categories weakly right tensored over $\mathcal{W}$ between two different models of $\infty$-categories of $\mathcal{V}$-enriched functors, one introduced by Hinich and one constructed by us.

Abstract:We show that an $\infty$-category $\mathcal{M}$ with a closed left action of a monoidal $\infty$-category $\mathcal{V}$ is completely determined by the $\mathcal{V}$-valued graph of morphism objects equipped with the structure of a $\mathcal{V}$-enrichment in the sense of Gepner-Haugseng. We prove a similar result when $\mathcal{M}$ is a $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $\infty$-category in the sense of Lurie, an operadic generalization of the notion of $\infty$-category with closed left action. Precisely, we prove that sending a $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $\infty$-category in the sense of Lurie to the $\mathcal{V}$-valued graph of morphism objects refines to an equivalence $\chi$ between the $\infty$-category of $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $\infty$-categories in the sense of Lurie and of Gepner-Haugseng. Moreover if $\mathcal{V}$ is a presentably $\mathbb{E}_{\mathrm{k+1}}$-monoidal $\infty$-category for $1 \leq k \leq \infty$, we prove that $\chi$ restricts to a lax $\mathbb{E}_{\mathrm{k}}$-monoidal functor between the $\infty$-category of left $\mathcal{V}$-modules in $\mathrm{Pr}^L$, the symmetric monoidal $\infty$-category of presentable $\infty$-categories, endowed with the relative tensor product, and the tensor product of $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $\infty$-categories of Gepner-Haugseng. As an application of our theory we construct a lax symmetric monoidal embedding of the $\infty$-category of small stable $\infty$-categories into the $\infty$-category of small spectral $\infty$-categories. As a second application we produce a Yoneda-embedding for Lurie's notion of enriched $\infty$-categories.

Abstract:We extend Lurie's definition of enriched $\infty$-categories to notions of left enriched, right enriched and bienriched $\infty$-categories, which generalize the concepts of closed left tensored, right tensored and bitensored $\infty$-categories and share many desirable features with them. We use bienriched $\infty$-categories to endow the $\infty$-category of enriched functors with enrichment that generalizes both the internal hom of the tensor product of enriched $\infty$-categories when the latter exists, and the free cocompletion under colimits and tensors. As an application we construct enriched Kan-extensions from operadic Kan-extensions, compute the monad for enriched functors, prove an end formula for morphism objects of enriched $\infty$-categories of enriched functors and a coend formula for the relative tensor product of enriched profunctors and construct transfer of enrichment from scalar extension of presentably bitensored $\infty$-categories. In particular, we develop an independent theory of enriched $\infty$-categories for Lurie's model of enriched $\infty$-categories.

Abstract:Using the description of enriched $\infty$-operads as associative algebras in symmetric sequences, we define algebras for enriched $\infty$-operads as certain modules in symmetric sequences. For $\mathbf{V}$ a symmetric monoidal model category and $\mathbf{O}$ a $\Sigma$-cofibrant operad in $\mathbf{V}$ for which the model structure on $\mathbf{V}$ can be lifted to one on $\mathbf{O}$-algebras, we then prove that strict algebras in $\mathbf{V}$ are equivalent to $\infty$-categorical algebras in the symmetric monoidal $\infty$-category associated to $\mathbf{V}$. We also show that for an $\infty$-operad $\mathcal{O}$ enriched in a suitable closed symmetric monoidal $\infty$-category $\mathcal{V}$, we can equivalently describe $\mathcal{O}$-algebras in $\mathcal{V}$ as morphisms of $\infty$-operads from $\mathcal{O}$ to a self-enrichment of $\mathcal{V}$.

Abstract:We describe the class of semi-stable model categories, which generalize the equivalence of finite products and coproducts in abelian and stable model categories, and use this to establish Morita equivalences among categories of functors. We provide a construction of pairs of small categories--known as conjugate pairs--whose associated categories of diagrams are Quillen equivalent in the semi-stable setting. We frame our development in the context of Morita theory, following Slominska's work on similar questions for categories of functors enriched over and taking values in R-modules.

Abstract:We establish the feasibility of investigating the theory of $R\text{-}\mathrm{Mod}$-enriched categories, for any commutative and unitary ring $R$, through the framework of $\mathbb{A}\mathrm{b}$-enriched category theory. In particular, we prove that the category of $R$-$\mathrm{Mod}$-enriched categories, $Cat(R$-$\mathrm{Mod})$, the category of $\underline{R}$-modules inside $Cat(\mathbb{A}\mathrm{b})$, $\mathrm{LMod}_{\underline{R}}(Cat(\mathbb{A}\mathrm{b}))$, and the category of $Cat(\mathbb{A}\mathrm{b})$-enriched functors, $Fun^{Cat(\mathbb{A}\mathrm{b})}(\underline{\underline{R}},Cat(\mathbb{A}\mathrm{b}))$ are equivalent.

Abstract:We prove that categories enriched in the Thomason model structure admit a model structure that is Quillen equivalent to the Bergner model structure on simplicial categories, providing a new model for (infinity,1)-categories. Along the way, we construct model structures on modules and monoids in the Thomason model structure and prove that any model structure on the category of small categories that has the same weak equivalences as the Thomason model structure is not a cartesian model structure.

Abstract:Categories enriched in the opposite poset of non-negative reals can be viewed as generalizations of metric spaces, known as Lawvere metric spaces. In this article, we develop model structures on the categories $\mathbb{R}_+\text-\mathbf{Cat}$ and $\mathbb{R}_+\text-\mathbf{Cat}^{\mathrm{sym}}$ of Lawvere metric spaces and symmetric Lawvere metric spaces, each of which captures different features pertinent to the study of metric spaces. More precisely, in the three model structures we construct, the fibrant-cofibrant objects are the extended metric spaces (in the usual sense), the Cauchy complete Lawvere metric spaces, and the Cauchy complete extended metric spaces, respectively. Finally, we show that two of these model structures are unique in a similar way to the canonical model structure on $\mathbf{Cat}$.

Abstract:On a locally -presentable symmetric monoidal closed category , -ary enriched equational theories correspond to enriched monads preserving -filtered colimits. We introduce discrete -ary enriched equational theories where operations are induced by those having discrete arities (equations are not required to have discrete arities) and show that they correspond to enriched monads preserving preserving -filtered colimits and surjections. Using it, we prove enriched Birkhof-type theorems for categories of algebras of discrete theories. This extends known results from metric spaces and posets to general symmetric monoidal closed categories.

Abstract:We show that the category of non-counital conilpotent dg-coalgebras and the category of non-unital dg-algebras carry model structures compatible with their closed non-unital monoidal and closed non-unital module category structures respectively. Furthermore, we show that the Quillen equivalence between these two categories extends to a non-unital module category Quillen equivalence, i.e. providing an enriched form of Koszul duality.

Abstract:In this paper, we present a generalization of Grothendieck pretopologies -- suited for semicartesian categories with equalizers $C$ -- leading to a closed monoidal category of sheaves, instead of closed cartesian category. This is proved through a different sheafification process, which is the left adjoint functor of the suitable inclusion functor but does not preserve all finite limits. If the monoidal structure in $C$ is given by the categorical product, all constructions coincide with those for Grothendieck toposes. The motivation for such generalization stems from a certain notion of sheaves on quantales that does not form a topos.

Abstract:We define and study the notion of a locally bounded enriched category over a (locally bounded) symmetric monoidal closed category, generalizing the locally bounded ordinary categories of Freyd and Kelly. In addition to proving several general results for constructing examples of locally bounded enriched categories and locally bounded closed categories, we demonstrate that locally bounded enriched categories admit fully enriched analogues of many of the convenient results enjoyed by locally bounded ordinary categories. In particular, we prove full enrichments of Freyd and Kelly's reflectivity and local boundedness results for orthogonal subcategories and categories of models for sketches and theories. We also provide characterization results for locally bounded enriched categories in terms of enriched presheaf categories, and we show that locally bounded enriched categories admit useful adjoint functor theorems and a representability theorem. We also define and study the notion of $\alpha$-bounded-small weighted limit enriched in a locally $\alpha$-bounded closed category, which parallels Kelly's notion of $\alpha$-small weighted limit enriched in a locally $\alpha$-presentable closed category, and we show that enriched categories of models of $\alpha$-bounded-small weighted limit theories are locally $\alpha$-bounded.

Abstract:We investigate $\mathrm{LMod}_{R}(\mathcal{V})$-enriched $\infty$-categories, where $R$ is an $\mathbb{E}_1$-ring in a presentable $\mathbb{E}_2$-monoidal $\infty$-category $\mathcal{V}$, using $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $\infty$-category theory. We prove the equivalence of $\mathcal{C}at_{\infty}^{\mathrm{LMod}_{R}(\mathcal{V})}$ (the $\infty$-category of $\mathrm{LMod}_{R}(\mathcal{V})$-enriched $\infty$-categories) and $\mathrm{LMod}_{R}(\mathcal{C}at_{\infty}^{\mathcal{V}})$ (left $R$-modules in $\mathcal{C}at_{\infty}^{\mathcal{V}}$). For $R$ an $\mathbb{E}_2$-ring in a presentable $\mathbb{E}_3$-monoidal $\infty$-category, they are also equivalent to $Fun^{\mathcal{C}at_{\infty}^{\mathcal{V}}}(B^2R,\mathcal{C}at_{\infty}^{\mathcal{V}})$, where $B^2(-)$ is the "$2$-delooping". This result generalizes: if $R$ is an $\mathbb{E}_n$-ring in a presentable $\mathbb{E}_{n+1}$-monoidal $\infty$-category, $(\infty,n)$-categories enriched in $\mathrm{LMod}_{R}(\mathcal{V})$ are equivalent to $B^nR$-modules in $\mathcal{V}$-enriched $(\infty,n)$-categories, where $B^n(-)$ is the "$n$-delooping". A notable case is $\mathcal{V} = \mathcal{S}p$ and $R = \mathbb{H}\mathrm{k}$, the Eilenberg-MacLane spectrum of a commutative ring $k$. In this case, the results provide two new descriptions of $\mathcal{D}(k)$ the $\infty$-category of dg-categories over $k$, a key object in derived algebraic geometry.

On the Equivariant Derived Category of Perverse Sheaves

Abstract:In this paper we extend Beilinson's realization formalism for triangulated categories and filtered triangulated categories to a pseudofunctorial and pseudonatural setting. As a consequence we prove an equivariant version of Beilinson's Theorem: for any algebraic group $G$ over an algebraically closed field $K$ and for any $G$-variety $X$, there is an equivalence of categories $D_G^b(X; \overline{\mathbb{Q}}_{\ell}) \simeq D_G^b(\mathbf{Perv}(X;\overline{\mathbb{Q}}_{\ell}))$ where $\ell$ is an integer prime coprime to the characteristic of $K$. We also show that the equivariant analogues of the other non-$D$-module aspects of Beilinson's Theorem hold in the equivariant case.

Abstract:We lay the foundations for a theory of quasi-categories in a monoidal category $\mathcal{V}$ replacing $\mathrm{Set}$, aimed at realising weak enrichment in the category $S\mathcal{V}$ of simplicial objects in $\mathcal{V}$. To accomodate non-cartesian monoidal products, we make use of an ambient category $S_{\otimes}\mathcal{V}$ of templicial - or 'tensor-simplicial' - objects in $\mathcal{V}$, which are certain colax monoidal functors following Leinster. Inspired by the description of the categorification functor due to Dugger and Spivak, we construct a templicial analogue of the homotopy coherent nerve functor which goes from $S\mathcal{V}$-enriched categories to templicial objects. We show that an $S\mathcal{V}$-enriched category whose underlying simplicial category is locally Kan, is turned into a quasi-category in $\mathcal{V}$ by this nerve functor.

Abstract:We introduce a general notion of enrichment for homotopy-coherent algebraic structures described by Segal conditions, using the framework of "algebraic patterns" developed in our previous work. This recovers several known examples of enriched structures, including enriched $\infty$-categories, enriched $\infty$-operads, and enriched $\infty$-properads. As new examples we discuss enriched modular $\infty$-operads, enriched $n$-fold $\infty$-categories, and a non-iterative definition of enriched $(\infty,n)$-categories.

Abstract:We define strict and weak duality involutions on 2-categories, and prove a coherence theorem that every bicategory with a weak duality involution is biequivalent to a 2-category with a strict duality involution. For this purpose we introduce "2-categories with contravariance", a sort of enhanced 2-category with a basic notion of "contravariant morphism", which can be regarded either as generalized multicategories or as enriched categories. This enables a universal characterization of duality involutions using absolute weighted colimits, leading to a conceptual proof of the coherence theorem.
