Abstract:Background and Aims: Previous studies have demonstrated that residual cholesterol (RC), including triglyceride-rich lipoprotein-cholesterol (TRL-C) and remnant-like lipoprotein particles-cholesterol (RLP-C), are an emerging risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD). The aim of the present cohort study is to examine the effects of RC on major cardiovascular events (MACEs) in patients with stable coronary artery disease (CAD) and different glucose metabolism status.
