Coupling Pattern Evolution of“ Population-Economy-Space-Environment” in the Counties of Anhui Province

Abstract:This paper builds an index system of evaluation on the coordinated development of county urbanization based on the connotation of county urbanization of "population-economy-space-environment" in the background of new urbanization.According to this index system,it takes 61 counties in Anhui Province as examples and uses entropy method,weighted method,coupling degree and coupling coordination degree model as the research methods.The purpose of this paper is to provide scientific basis and reference for the coordinated development of county urbanization in Anhui Province by using these methods to do research on the four spatial and temporal patterns of the coupling of 4 subsystems of "population,economy,space and environment" in the county urbanization in four time sections from 2000 to 2013.The results of this research show that:1) In general,the development of county urbanization in Anhui Province is at a low level.The disorder degree of coupling coordination is on the way from moderate phase to mild phase.2) In the spatial pattern,the degree of coupling coordination of the counties in eastern Anhui Province is higher than that of the central areas,and the coupling coordination degree of the counties in middle Anhui Province is higher than that of the southern and northern areas.3) In the five planning areas of Anhui Province,it is population lag in northern Anhui and space and environment lag in other areas.
