Abstract:There is a long standing problem conjectured by Schonbek (2009), whether the sharp decay of velocity field for the 2D co-rotation FENE dumbbell model of polymeric flows should be (1+t)−12. By using the generalized Fourier splitting methods, we improve the result of Luo and Yi (2019) and solve Schonbek’s conjecture completely.
