Abstract:The aim of this paper is to study regularity of weak solutions to second-order degenerate elliptic equations constructed by Hormander's vector fields. Under the assumptions of lower-order terms and the right-hand side of the equation belonging to different Money spaces, we establish weak Money estimates of weak solutions by using representation formula of very weak solutions, the reverse Holder's inequality and proving several a priori estimates.

Abstract:We study a class of degenerate quasilinear elliptic equations with coefficients depending on two different weights.Using weighted Sobolev inequality, weighted Poincaré inequality and Moser's iteration technique, we obtain Harnack inequalities for nonnegative weak solutions.As a consequence, we prove Hölder continuity of weak solutions.

Abstract:This paper deals with the existence of many solutions a degenerate weighted elliptic equation which its the number of solutions depend on degeneracy term a i.e., the number of subdomains of Ω\ a −1 (0) whose boundary is made by submanifolds with 1-codimension. Moreover, by the Ljusternik-Schnirelman principle, we would study the corresponding eigenvalue problem and obtained the nonnegative eigenvalues sequence of main problem. We establish the regularity in Orlicz spaces for the solutions if the coefficients a_ij(ξ ) belong to VMO_loc .

Abstract:We prove the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution to a Dirichlet boundary value problem for a class of nonlinear degenerate elliptic equations in the setting of weighted Sobolev spaces. Our proof is based on the weighted Sobolev spaces theory and the Browder–Minty theorem. First, we transform the problem into an equivalent operator equation; second, we utilized the Browder–Minty theorem to prove the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution to the considered problem.

Abstract:This paper deals with the following weighted subelliptic p-Laplace equation L(p)u := div(X) (< A(x)Xu(x), Xu(x)>(p-2/2) A(x)Xu(x)) = g(x), where the system X = (X-1; ...; X-m) satisfies Hormander's condition, u is an element of W-1,W-p (Omega; w); 1 <= lambda w (x)(2/p)vertical bar xi vertical bar(2); for xi is an element of R-m, with w = w (x) being an A(p) function. We first establish a maximum principle for weak solutions to the equation L(p)u = g with the weighted Sobolev inequality and the extension of Moser iteration technique to the weight case. Next, the local boundedness and the Harnack inequality for nonnegative weak solutions to L(p)u = g are proved. As an application, the Holder continuity for nonnegative weak solutions is given. Unlike in many papers, we do not impose any restriction in advance for measures of metric balls.
