The Mining of Personal Medical Information in the Era of Big Data

Abstract:Nowadays, the combination of the healthcare and the information technology has been the focus of the public, especially with the coming of the era of Big Data, the types of medical data have become more abundant and the scale has expanded so much. It' s a promising trend to improve the level of medical service and help manage personal health by making use of massive and complicated medical information. This paper introduces the concept and characteristics of medical big data, describes the source of medical data, analyses the tendency of applying the data mining into the processing of medical information, and discusses a feasible circumstance of medical data mining the mining of personal medical information based on online medical community.
