A remoting-based middleware architecture for application integration

Abstract:Manufacturing enterprises applying CAx, MRP, ERP and other software in design and management, which benefit the enterprise greatly but leave many heterogeneous legacy applications. Integration of software components is a very important problem for companies that wish to automate their business processes. As middleware provides simplicity and uniformity for the development of distributed, applications, a Remoting-based middleware architecture present for enterprise application integration (EAI), which takes advantage of the NET Remoting capabilities to provide programmers with a simple extension enabling them to integrate applications and generate new system with little more effort. The basic architecture and main structure of the architecture are discussed. The procedure of integration on the architecture is given too. At last, a prototype implementation illustrates the discussion.
