Abstract:Changing expectations is the theme that links the five shortlisted entries in the Women’s Health team category of the BMJ awards, says Nigel Hawkes. Rather than dramatic breakthroughs in care, the teams succeeded by using existing knowledge better through persuasion, training, and altering entrenched attitudes.
