Application of Ultrasound Contrast Agents in Diagnosis and Therapy of Tumors

Abstract:The application of ultrasound contrast agents in clinic has improved the ability of diagnosis and differential diagnosis on diseases, especially on the qualitative diagnosis and location of tumors. In recent years, many scholars are devoting to the research of targeting imaging and therapy of ultrasound contrast agents for tumors. Great achievements have been shown to us, including the preparation technology of targeting microbubble, ultrasound-relative biologic technology, microbubble-relative gene technology, etc. It is acknowledged that the combination of neotype contrast agents with ultrasound will remarkably extend the diagnosis and treatment practice of ultrasound. The improvement of diagnostic specificity and accuracy, and the effective targeting therapy on tumor will bring the individual treatment and new hope for tumor patients.
