Survey on Therapy Satisfaction of Patients with Maintenance Hemodialysis

Abstract:Objective To survey the satisfaction of maintenance hemodialysis patients to the therapy, so as to provide the evidences for instituting the improvement measures. Methods 81 patients whose maintenance hemodialysis exceeded three months were brought into this study. This study adopted the serf- designed questionnaire, including six aspects of the technology of therapy nursing, the health education and direction, the care and attendance, the coordination with other departments, the aspect of referring patients' idea, and the integrated evaluation. Results The maintenance hemedialysis patients' satisfaction to the medical staffs was passable, but to the health education and direction, the care and attendance and the coordination with other departments were lower. The hemodialysis patients' satisfaction had a negative correlation with the time of hemodialysis. Conclusions The medical staffs in the hemodialysis department should adopt the individual health education and rehabilitation guidance and improve the self-management of patients, thereby advancing the patients' satisfaction.
