Abstract:Resveratrol, as a non-flavonoid polyphenolic compound,is not only a phytoalexin in plants,but also has antioxidant,anti-tumor,lipid-regulating activity.Recent in vivo and vitro studies have demonstrated that resveratrol can inhibit and even reverse melanoma initiation, promotion and progression.The anti-tumor effects of resveratrol may be mediated by resisting oxadation, blocking cell cycles, promoting apoptosis and inducing differentiation of tumor cells,interfering related signal transduction and inhibiting angiogenesis.
