Abstract:With the acceleration of aging process in our country, the number of patients with foot problems and the demand for podiatric nursing is increasing. This paper illustrated the training mechanism, scope of work, and certification of the American podiatry as well as the development, scope of work, appraisal system and certification of footcare nurse, to provide more ideas for the development of Chinese podiatric medicine and specific nursing.
