Study on cancer-related fatigue and disease characteristics of breast cancer patients

Abstract:【Objective】 To study that breast cancer patients with chemotherapy cancer related fatigue levels associated with disease characteristics.【Methods】 By Convenient random sampling method,random 200 cases of breast cancer patients treated with chemotherapy for cancer related fatigue and disease characteristics of the investigation in Changsha Xiangya Hospital.【Results】 Breast cancer chemotherapy patient of total fatigue incidence rate is 100%;physical fatigue incidence rate is 100%,emotional fatigue incidence rate was 98.5%;cognitive fatigue incidence rate is 99.5%;Total fatigue score(26.875±6.433),the fatigue scores in descending order of physical fatigue(12.990±4.154),emotional fatigue(7.135±2.584),cognitive fatigue(6.750±2.433);Patients with complications associated with of total fatigue,physical fatigue,emotional fatigue is higher than in patients without complications(P <0.05);The total fatigue in patients with anemia is higher than in patients without anemia(P <0.05);TAC/TEC/TA chemotherapy group physical fatigue score is the highest in the three groups(P <0.05);TAC/TEC/TA chemotherapy group emotional fatigue is higher than the CAF/CEF chemotherapy group(P <0.05);The first week after chemotherapy in patients with greater emotional fatigue than the third week after chemotherapy in patients(P <0.05);The third week after chemotherapy group,the secondweek after chemotherapy group,TAC/TEC/TA chemotherapy plan is the total fatigue influential factors,which three factors could explain the total fatigue about 33%;The fourth course of chemotherapy,anemia,the third week after chemotherapy,breast cancer recurrence and metastasis are the factors that affect the physical fatigue,and other factors affect fatigue on the body,these four factors explain physical fatigue about 31%;The third week after chemotherapy,the stage Ⅱ of breast cance,TAC/TEC/TA chemotherapy plan,complications are the factors that affect the emotional fatigue,,these four factors explain the emotional fatigue about 47%;anemia is the factor of cognitive,this factor could explain the cognitive fatigue about 41%.【Conclusion】 Prevalent in patients with breast cancer chemotherapy.The third week after chemotherapy,the second week after chemotherapy,TAC/TEC/TA chemotherapy,the fourth course of chemotherapy,anemia,the breast cancer recurrent and metastatic,the Ⅱ stage breast cancer,complications in patients with breast cancer chemotherapy were major factors in the disease characteristics.
