Clinical Study on Serum Myocardial Enzymes in Patients with H1N1 Influenza A Virus Infection

Abstract:Objective To investigate correlation between the severity of illness and the levels of serum myocardial enzymes in patients with H1N1 influenza A virus infection.Methods 206 patients with A H1N1 influenza were enrolled in this study.The levels of serum creatine kinase (CK),CK-MB,aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) were evaluated.Results Serum myocardial enzymes levels in the severe group were higher than those in the non-severe group ( P ＜0.05or P ＜0.01).The results indicated that CK,CK-MB,AST and LDH levels were positively correlated with the severity of illness ( r =0.160,0.396,0.181,0.392,P =0.021,0.001,0.009,0.001 ).Conclusions The levels of serum CK,CK-MB,AST and LDH of the patients with A H1N1 influenza are related to the severity of illness.
