Abstract:Background Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is one of common complications after surgery,it not only results in delayed recovery,increasing medical expenses,but also affects the quality of patients' life badly.The studies show that POCD may be the result of several mechanisms,which are mainly associated with the cholinergic system,stress response and inflammatory response.In recent years,the studies indicate that the cannabinoid system plays an important role in cognitive dysfunction.Objective To summarize the researches of cannabinoid in cognitive dysfunction.Content Introduce POCD and the cannabinoid system,summarize the findings of the researches of cannabinoid in cognitive dysfunction.Trend Hope to provide researchers with the latest information,and do something for the research of mechanism of POCD.
