Research on the Method of Measuring Coal Resource Efficiency Based on MFA and DEA

Abstract:This paper integrated systematically the method of MFA and DEA,and combined the evaluation method of eco-efficiency,discussed a method of measuring and calculating coal resource efficiency based on total factor resource efficiency.The method uses human resource,capital resource,coal resource and ecological rucksacks of coal resource as the input indicator,and uses the value which was created by the input indicator,and environmental impact as the output indicator.Moreover,this paper carried out an empirical research on the related data of the coal resources of China for in years 1991-2011,in the perspectives of total condition,evolving trend,bottleneck,improving direction of the coal resource efficiency of China.The research of this paper provided a scientific method of measuring and calculating coal resource efficiency of China.Moreover,through an empirical analysis,the paper drew conclusions that the method had feasibility not only in theory but also in practice.The method could availably measure and analyze coal resource efficiency,and furthermore,provide references and supports to the decision-making of China.
