Abstract:In this paper a design off our wheeled omnidirectional vehicle is presented and its kinematic and dynamic model is developed The motion equation of this system is non-linear and hard to deal with in applications where fast trajectory generation is needed with modest computation resource. Therefore a special design that the vehicle's motion equation can be simplified is proposed. With a set of constraints being satisfied, the system is greatly simplified and a near time-optimal bang-bang trajectory can be calculated with great computational efficiency.
A Simultaneous Trajectory Generation Method for Quadcopter Intercepting Ground Mobile Vehicle

Abstract:This article proposes a trajectory generator for quadcopter to intercept moving ground vehicle. For this air–ground interaction problem, we formulate the trajectory generation problem as quadratic dynamic programming in a moving-horizon scheme based on the quadcopter kinematics and observation to ground vehicle. The closed-form solution of quadratic dynamic programming in each iteration enables this algorithm a real-time replanning performance. Thereafter, segmented trajectory rule, inspired from commercial flight landing regular, is implemented to guarantee smoothness in approaching and interception to moving ground target from comparably far origin. Our established algorithm is verified through both simulations and experiments.

Abstract:This article proposes a bio-inspired algorithm called virtual motion camouflage (VMC) to reduce the dimension and computational cost of entry trajectory optimization problem for the reusable launch vehicle. In the VMC framework, the trajectory to be planned can be obtained by predefining the virtual prey motion according to the boundary conditions, then optimizing the reference point and path control parameters using sequential quadratic programming algorithm. Compared with Gauss pseudospectral method, due to the proposed approach reduce the number of discrete points and the equality constraints of the optimization model, it can improve the convergence speed and reduce computational cost effectively. Two minimum time entry examples, without and with no-fly-zone constraints, are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract:Owing to the complexity and uncertainty of actual model of revolving stage system,it's impossible to acquire a mathematic model,so it's necessary to study the reality prototype in the simulation system.The dSPACE system which can seamless connect with MATLAB/Simulink was designed to realize the rapid prototype design of revolving stage system.The simulation and experiment was carried out.The results prove the effectiveness of the system and the method.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose a real-time motion planning system and a precise trajectory tracking controller for unmanned aerial vehicles autonomous navigation in complex environments. Based on the simple path planned by the path searching method, we generate the convex flight corridors for quadrotor safe flying by cube inflation. We generate the trajectories composed with piecewise Bézier curves in these convex flight corridors by formulating thé problem as a quadratic program. The time of the trajectories is re-allocated to satisfy the dynamic feasibility. We apply a nonlinear model predictive controller (NMPC) considering the full system model to track the generates trajectories. The performance of our proposed method is tested in a complex simulation system.

Abstract:Aiming at trajectory modeling for ship-to-air missile, a novel modeling method based on vector rotation is proposed, which can be used under different conditions of ship-to- air missile launching scheme. Compared with traditional Euler modeling method and quaternion modeling method, its advantage lies in simple principle and extensive practicality. The implementation method is adopted as mixed programming of C language and Matlab language, which combines both simplicity of Matlab developing environment to display 3D graph and efficiency of C language. Addition, using dynamic link library to implement trajectory calculation is easy to extend. The simulation results verify the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method.

Abstract:Virtual training system is important to improve the force operational capability.Due to urgent training needs for new type howitzer, the virtual training system was established based on analysis of a variety of training methods.From the system characteristic, the function modules were designed.Methods were specially expounded in realizing the ballistic function expression and setting up the troubles database.The process is shown to transform the trajectory coordinate system into the earth coordinate system.Meanwhile, it is suggested that troubleshooting training should be included into equipment training system.The system realizes the functions, such as threedimensional modeling, force generation, trajectory computation, troubles database establishment, evaluation, operation plan's preparation and so on.The system is good at training effect through military trial.

Abstract:The missile launching system is a typical complex mechanical system, which is becoming increasingly larger in scale and more complicated in structure. Designing these types of products often requires repeated complex and time-consuming model design, calculation, and analysis of the dynamics of the system. The most time-consuming is repeatedly modifying the geometric and dynamics models. In this article, we put forward a new method for bidirectional-driving parameter between CAD and CAE, by changing the geometric model parameters, which directly changes the dynamics model. A parameterized multibody system dynamics modeling and analysis software for missile launching system are proposed, which gathered modeling, solving, visual simulation as a whole, and realized design parameters seamless transfer between geometric models and dynamics models for missile launching system. In order to examine the correctness of the simulation results, a parameterized experimental platform for missile launching system is designed, which can modify the key parameters as designed in simulation software. Finally, a missile launching system simulation and test examples are given, and the simulation analysis and experiment results demonstrate that the overall trend of the simulation results of multi-rigid and rigid-flexible coupling dynamics model is consistent with the experiment results.

Abstract:To make the time of the mechanical arm in joint space movement as short as possible and improve work efficiency, it is momentous to plan the movement trajectory of the mechanical arm to content the necessary condition of a smooth movement curve of the mechanical arm. According to the working principle of the 6-DOF mechanical arm, the D-H modeling method is used to calculate the D-H arguments, and the six-degree-of-freedom mechanical arm D-H model is established using MATLAB's Robotics toolbox, and the positive kinematics analysis is performed. According to the set up robot arm model, the trajectory designning of the mechanical arm to run by using the three-time polynomial interpolation technique and the five-time polynomial interpolation technique in the joint space comparison, and it is simulated in MATLAB. Simulation experiments show that the five-time polynomial interpolation technique makes the running curve of the mechanical arm smoother and more stable, and has more application value.

Abstract:In field environments, numerous robots necessitate manual intervention for restoration of functionality post a turnover, resulting in diminished operational efficiency. This study presents an innovative design solution for a reversible omnidirectional mobile robot denoted as CuRobot, featuring a cube structure, thereby facilitating uninterrupted omnidirectional movement even in the event of flipping. The incorporation of eight conical wheels at the cube vertices ensures consistent omnidirectional motion no matter which face of the cube contacts the ground. Additionally, a kinematic model is formulated for CuRobot, accompanied by the development of a trajectory tracking controller utilizing model predictive control. Through simulation experiments, the correlation between trajectory tracking accuracy and the robot's motion direction is examined. Furthermore, the robot's proficiency in omnidirectional mobility and sustained movement post-flipping is substantiated via both simulation and prototype experiments. This design reduces the inefficiencies associated with manual intervention, thereby increasing the operational robustness of robots in field environments.

Abstract:The recent works on quadrotor have focused on more and more challenging tasks on increasingly complex systems. Systems are often augmented with slung loads, inverted pendulums or arms, and accomplish complex tasks such as going through a window, grasping, throwing or catching. Usually, controllers are designed to accomplish a specific task on a specific system using analytic solutions, so each application needs long preparations. On the other hand, the direct multiple shooting approach is able to solve complex problems without any analytic development, by using on-the-shelf optimization solver. In this paper, we show that this approach is able to solve a wide range of problems relevant to quadrotor systems, from on-line trajectory generation for quadrotors, to going through a window for a quadrotor-and-pendulum system, through manipulation tasks for a aerial manipulator.

Abstract:The flight environment of aerodynamically controlled missiles is full of complexity and uncertainty. To cope with the uncertainty more effectively and enhance the convergence performance in trajectory optimization problems for aerodynamically controlled missiles simultaneously, the chance-constrained sequential convex programming (CC-SCP) algorithm is proposed in this paper. The uncertainty is regarded as the chance constraint, and a smooth and differential approximation function is designed to transform this chance constraint into the constraint that the convex optimization method can handle. Subsequently, the originally non-convex trajectory optimization problem is reformulated into a series of convex optimization subproblems, in which an initial reference trajectory guess generation strategy is proposed, and a theoretical proof of the exact convex relaxation is given to enhance the algorithm's convergence performance and theoretical value, respectively. Numerical simulations are provided to verify the convergence and effectiveness of the CC-SCP algorithm, and the advantages of using the CC-SCP algorithm to cope with the uncertainty are illustrated. Furthermore, comparative simulation examples show that the proposed algorithm possesses a low conservatism, which means the proposed algorithm can obtain a bigger convergence region and a better solution than other current methods when handling the same chance constraints. Finally, the robustness of the algorithm is discussed.

Abstract:Trajectory-following control is the basis for the practical application of an articulated virtual rail train transportation system. In this paper, a planar nonlinear dynamics model of an articulated vehicle is derived using the Euler–Lagrange method. A trajectory-following control strategy based on the first following point is proposed, and a feedback linearization control algorithm is designed based on the vehicle dynamics model to achieve the trajectory following of the rear vehicle. Based on the target trajectory formed by the first following point and measured by virtual sensors, a vector analysis method grounded in geometric relationships is proposed to solve in real time for the desired position, velocity, and acceleration of the vehicle. Finally, a MATLAB/SIMPACK dynamics virtual prototype is established to test the vehicle's trajectory-following effectiveness and dynamics performance under lane change and circular curve routes. The results indicate that the control algorithm can achieve trajectory following while maintaining good vehicle dynamics performance. It is robust to variations in vehicle mass, vehicle speed, tire cornering stiffness, and road friction coefficient.

Abstract:Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, Ahead of Print. In this study, a low-cost two-dimensional (2D) trajectory correction mechanism is proposed to address the large trajectory deviation of small-caliber extended-range ammunitions. By controlling the projectile's roll, a single-channel 2D trajectory correction function can be realized. Moreover, based on the ideal trajectory, a five-degree-of-freedom approximate rigid-body trajectory equation is proposed. A high-order system is transformed into two low-order cascading subsystems using fuzzy control and the self-disturbance rejection control theory, which reduces the parameter tuning complexity. The entire control process is divided into three stages which realizes the second-order variable structure control of non-affine nonlinear subsystems. A low-altitude atmospheric disturbance model is established, and as an example, numerical calculations are performed on the control process and projectile impact point dispersion of a 35 mm small-caliber rocket. The results verify the performance of the proposed trajectory correction under atmospheric disturbances. This study provides a control approach for coupled underactuated nonlinear systems and provides guidance for the design of a low-cost 2D trajectory correction controller for small-caliber ammunitions.

Abstract:In this paper, linearized mathematical models of a type of missile are established on a series of representative points chosen from a typical trajectory of a missile. Upon a tremendous amount of numerical calculation and analysis of the obtained data, some facts are discovered which are important to robust control system design. A knowledge base for the design of non-minimal phase control systems is built on the basis of calculation and analysis of one thousand non-minimal phase systems. A new approach is then presented to the design of robust control system. It inherits the advantages of the "optimization of parametrized desired eigenloci" method, but is applicable to non-minimal phase plants. The controller designed by this method not only guarantees system stability, dynamic performance, robustness and controller stability, but also has a structure much simpler than what the H/sub /spl infin// approach and /spl mu/- approach might give.< >

Abstract:In order to analyze and design vehicle control system, a virtual reality simulation platform suitable for different types of vehicles is developed using VC++ and Vega. The platform has the function of visual simulation for vehicles with no joint, multi-joint vehicles and multi-body systems. The observer in Vega can revolve round the player and zoom in/out. Non-real-time and real-time data association and drive technology has been studied respectively, and by using MATLAB library, MAT file and M file simulation-driven approaches are achieved. Three simulation examples, helicopter, lunar rover and solar sail system, validate the effectiveness and the advantage of the platform. © 2012 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

Abstract:In the field of trajectory generation for objects, ensuring continuous collision-free motion remains a huge challenge, especially for non-convex geometries and complex environments. Previous methods either oversimplify object shapes, which results in a sacrifice of feasible space or rely on discrete sampling, which suffers from the "tunnel effect". To address these limitations, we propose a novel hierarchical trajectory generation pipeline, which utilizes the Swept Volume Signed Distance Field (SVSDF) to guide trajectory optimization for Continuous Collision Avoidance (CCA). Our interdisciplinary approach, blending techniques from graphics and robotics, exhibits outstanding effectiveness in solving this problem. We formulate the computation of the SVSDF as a Generalized Semi-Infinite Programming model, and we solve for the numerical solutions at query points implicitly, thereby eliminating the need for explicit reconstruction of the surface. Our algorithm has been validated in a variety of complex scenarios and applies to robots of various dynamics, including both rigid and deformable shapes. It demonstrates exceptional universality and superior CCA performance compared to typical algorithms. Abstract:This paper focuses on the analysis of the ballistic trajectory simulation of projectile,the projectile and projectile body trajectory equation of particle motion equation;initial value by using Matlab software simulation analysis using the Runge Kutta;the simulation results are compared with the trajectory table,the error is less than 5％.The simulation results show that the projectile particle trajectory is consistent with the trajectory.

Abstract:Nowadays, the quadrotor is becoming a popular platform in the academic field and the commercial area. Many prototypes have been developed for different applications. In this paper, we present the design and development of a quadrotor system with the function of aerial surveillance for trajectory tracking. Kinematics and dynamics models of the quadrotor are given by Newton–Euler method. A nonlinear controller based on trajectory linearization control approach is designed to stabilize the quadrotor. This controller is divided into two parts as the guidance controller and the attitude controller, which control the translational motion and rotational motion, respectively. A quadrotor prototype is developed to implement the controller. A control strategy is provided for the autonomous flight with procedures of mission planning, trajectory generation, control, and hardware. Simulation tests are used to validate the robustness and the performance of the controller. Several flight experiments have been implemented outdoors. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed controller performs well in trajectory tracking mission, and the appointed functions of this quadrotor system also work well.
